PT LRT Jakarta Provides Park and Ride Facility

Park and ride location for motorcycle is located in the Parking 1 Building, Basement 2 and car is the La Piazza Basement Parking area and Outdoor L5 Parking

The PT LRT Jakarta provides a park and ride facility in the Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading parking area in a bid to encourage more people to use public transportation to get downtown. This facility has been enjoyed since Wednesday.

"Park and ride location for motorcycle is located in the Parking 1 Building, Basement 2 and car is the La Piazza Basement Parking area and Outdoor L5 Parking," disclosed PT LRT Jakarta President Director, Wijanarko, Friday (2/7).

He explained parking fees is applied at 5.30 AM - 11 PM, with details motorcycle must pay Rp 2,000 and cars Rp 5,000. Then, for 11.01 PM - 5.29 AM, motorcycle must pay Rp 25,000 and Rp 50,000 for cars.

"We also apply parking fees for 24 hours, Rp 27,000 for moto rcycle and Rp 55,000 for car," he stated.

But if the vehicle is parked for more than 24 hours, an additional rate will be charged in accordance with the provisions in force when leaving.

"This facility only operates on Monday to Friday, except on weekend," he explained.

To enjoy it, each person can show STNK and parking ticket to be stamped at Boulevard Utara Station.

"Afterwards, ticket is then directly paid when leaving the Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading parking gate," he stated.
